"If you work in a job that requires repetitive motion then you may be at risk for a repetitive stress injury such as carpal tunnel syndrome or tendinitis also known as tennis elbow. These things happen because we use the smaller muscles and tendons, rather than using our larger muscles. Why do we do that? Part of the problem is because we're so stressed out we got our shoulders up to our ears and we're holding all this inner stuff in and so we need to let go of all that stuff. One of the things that can help us do that is just the use of very simple exercise, such as elbow circles. If you just place your hands on your shoulders and take your elbows out to the sides and inhale and begin to come through, elbow circles. This is going to increase the circulation to the shoulders, thereby increasing the circulation to the arms and relieving the tension in the neck and the shoulders. You also want to come into the opposite direction. So just a very simple elbow circle, could be done anywhere. It could be done on the job, will help so much to relieve stress which can cause tendinitis and also keep to heal and help keep your wrists strong. I'm Cindy Mastry. Namaste."
