Video Transcript

"In yoga there's many stretches for many different parts of the body, but one of the parts of the body that we seem to leave out is our wrists. So the cobra roll is a really good way to stretch your wrists. It can also help combat arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and tendinitis of the elbow. So it's very easy, just take your forefingers and place them right on your thumb and then begin to roll. Just rolling the hand forward, you can do it fast or slow. It just feels like a little cobra like a little snake roll. Good. And so this is bringing blood flow to your wrist, bringing blood flow to your hand and stretching your forearm. You can also take your cobra roll sideways and then open the thumb, press with your hand to the ball of the thumb and as you press your pinkie finger over the other way. So this gives a good sideways stretch to the wrists as well. So cobra rolls and then stretching the wrists sideways in your cobra roll great way to keep your wrists strong. I'm Cindy Mastry namaste."
