"When folks come to a trial lawyer it's because they've got a problem. And I've always liked to try to help people solve their problems, and this seemed like a very good way to do it in the law, which is something I've always wanted to do. Well, as an undergraduate student, I had a political science major, and from there I went to law school and got a law degree. And from there I went to work with his fellow that I mentioned earlier, and then I struck out on my own and that's the path that I took. Oh gee, what everybody wants. Cowboy, airplane pilot, all of those things. I never really thought about being a lawyer until I was in college."
