If you think that the iPhone has blazing speed through its 3G protocol or even its Edge protocol, your very best performance is through WiFi. Hi, I'm Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert, and I'm going to show you how to set up or accept a WiFI network on your iPhone. All you have to do is go to your settings, and then you'll see at the top here is your airplane mode, and right below that is WiFi. Now you can see right here we are joined to the Rokosz media network, which is our studios here. But if there was another network, we could actually go ahead and hit it in here. Now this is what you'd use if you went to a restaurant or a coffee shop that has wireless access, and you would simply but in the name--we're going to call this one just QWE, because we're just doing it quickly here. We'd tap on the security, we choose WEP, very common one, or WEP Enterprise, which is another neat feature of this--we'll get to it later. Go back to the other network here and enter in the password, and you'll see here too once you hit the password, you'll see the letter your typing to make sure you're correct before it hides out for privacy, and then hit join down here, and if it were a valid network it would allow us to join the network. No, it can't find that one. So we're just going to dismiss it. The other neat thing is that if it sees a network, it'll say, hey, do you want to join it? And you will decide yes or not. But let's say you don't like that, because I'll tell you what, going down the road, you see a lot of different networks coming in, because this will pick up strong networks. If that annoys you and you're trying to make phone calls, you're trying to go on, and it keeps asking you if you want to join other networks, just flip this to no and it will stop asking you. But if you see one you want to join, all you have to do is tap on it when it comes up, and enter the password,= security code for it, and boom. They make it very easy to join networks. WiFi is the fastest way of the three ways that you have with the new iPhone 3G to access information over the net. Very, very flexible. All you need is a password. Go through the settings. I'm Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert, saying stream you later, over WiFi.
