"Alright folks, we're going back to fundamentals on this one, but you know, it's important to start with the basics. So in this clip, I'm going to tech you how to draw hearts, and we'll get a little creative too, so they're not just, you know, kind of boring regular hearts. We're going to start with your standard, we'll work our way over, obviously you're going to kind of come up and draw half of a heart, just like that, almost like a question mark, only slightly tilted to the side. Then we're going to come over, do the exact same thing down the other side. Now the thing that is tricky is, and you can see how I kind of made a mistake with this one, just to show you, you want to mirror them both exactly otherwise it kind of looks sloppy. See this one has a little more of an arc to it, and this one kind of comes down, so the best way to do this, I would say, is actually to try a different approach, which is to start with the bottom, and draw that first. So you'd have your anchor point already, and the only thing you'll have to work on there is not accidentally showing a disconnected line. Now come up to the top, and back down, and believe it or not it is actually harder than it looks to do an exact mirror image of one thing on one side and the other. It takes a little bit of practice, and obviously people who are wanting to draw hearts on a professional level are going to need to learn how to do it basically perfectly. So we'll try it one more time over here, same method, or the reverse method. Try it this way, draw a bird in flight, two little wings almost like a bird on the horizon, like that, which is obviously not a lot of detail, and come down and draw the base. I overshot just a little bit, and there you go, you've got another way to draw the heart, and then if you wanted to add some detail to it, one thing that you could possibly do, draw it here, draw a heart just like this, if you want to make it look, you know, add some color to it, maybe ass a little dimension, you could draw a little, what they call a Cartoon Shine on it. Which is to come in and sort of draw what would be, would look like the reflection of light in the room. It's kind of like that, it makes it looks like the, the heart is shiny. Or you could even do it a little bit lighter like this, and just kind of come in and draw a nice light little line like that, give some dimension to it. Come along the sides like this and draw sort of lines that make it look like it has texture, a nice reflective surface, maybe a little glow, to show the glow of love, or whatever you want to do, for whatever reason you want your heart. There are different options, but learning how to draw and exact mirror half and half is by far the most important part about drawing hearts. Once you have that down, you're pretty much good to go. So practice and you know it's, feels relatively simple, it's really not quite as easy as it looks, so give it a try."
