"Hi, my name is Sylvia. Thanks for tuning in. Today we're going to show you how to slick hair back. First thing we want to do is make sure that we get all the tangles out of the hair. So just slightly and lightly comb the hair all back away from the face, making sure there are no tangles in the hair. This is vital, because we don't want those snars and snares to happen when we go to comb out the slick back style. This is great if you're going out on the town, and you want a really simple look. So then you can take a little bit of palmate in the palm of your hand, and make sure to rub it in real good. Because we don't want to leave it greasy, and slick looking, we just want it to be soft and manageable. So you're going to make sure to slick it back, rubbing the hair and pulling it back, little by little. Take your comb; and I like to use the closed in to slowly get all the hairs going back, just like so. Now this is something that is very easy to do, something that you can do at home, and it can also look very elegant. Take the back of your hair, and simply sweep it up, like so, leaving it very elegant. So you have a smooth slick texture on the top, and a soft elegant texture on the bottom. Make sure to secure with pins, so that your style will stay in place. Again, if you want slick hair, and elegant hair, make sure to use a palmate on top. Don't go too heavy, because we don't want you to look greasy. And in the end, take a little hairspray, and spray it across the top to help any fly aways that may have come up in the combing process. My name is Sylvia Russell, and this is how you get slick hair. Hope you get the hairstyle you want. Come back and see us."
