"Very nice. Hi, my name is Sylvia Russell, and today, I'm going to show you how to do faux Mohawk. A faux Mohawk, you ask? Well, a faux Mohawk is a fake Mohawk. Or, the imitation of a Mohawk. When you don't want to cut your hair but you want to get he look of a Mohawk, it's called a faux Mohawk. So as you can see here, what I did, was I simply swept up the side of hair with some bobby pins, so begin the formation of the faux-hawk. So now I'll show you how to come along and do the other side. It's a very easy, and if you have long or short hair, it's something that you can do at home. Just remember to comb it up nice and smooth. Add just a little bit of teasing, and you instantly have a Mohawk. So then we will apply our pins. And remember, you don't have to have too short of hair, your hair doesn't have to be super long, you can even add hair if you need to. So all we've done is swept up the hair. Make sure that you have enough bobby pins to give you the look that you desire, and you instantly have faux-hawk. Now a faux-hawk is your own creation, and it doesn't have to emulate anything that you've seen anywhere else. It's all about what you want. My client decided that she wanted a bang in the front, and she wanted all the middle to stand up. So this is my model, and this is a faux Mohawk, and this is something that you can create at home. My name is Sylvia, and this is how you create a faux Mohawk."
