"Okie dokie. Oh, hey. You caught me when I was trying to trim my bangs. I thought I was going to be able to get it done before you tuned in. My name is Sylvia Russell. So why don't I show you how to cut and trim your own bangs. Now listen, cutting and trimming your own bangs can be difficult. First thing is that you don't want bangs that are too short. if they're too short you won't be happy. So rule of thumb. When you grab your bangs, like so, always make your first finger go to the bridge of your nose, like so. And once you do that, cut below that line. Do not cut above the line. This will make your bangs entirely too short. Now, if you want a nice side sweep, like so, simply pull the hair out like I'm doing. And slowly snip away at the hair. Never go right in and begin cutting. Again, if you go too short, you won't be happy. So less is more. Remember, cutting your own bangs can be easy. But if it's difficult for you, you may need to consult a professional stylist. I'm sure that there's someone in your area that can give you the cut that you want.
