"So you just left the salon and you got your new color. So now we're going to show you how to make your color last in between dye jobs. This is my model and her hair was recently colored. So my suggestions to her would be to make sure that she shampoos regularly with a color safe shampoo. She would not want to use a whole lot of heat on her hair and she would want to keep it moisturized on a daily basis. She would want to make sure and stay away from a ton of sun exposure. Hair is very fragile when it's colored. So we want to make sure that we do everything possible. To make sure that your color lasts. One thing you can do is to make sure that you use a very moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Now there are very many kinds out there. You have to pick what is best suited for your hair. There are some for shiny hair, some for fine hair. Some for thick hair or course hair. So you have to make sure that you pick the right product for your hair type. Now remember that when you shampoo and condition you need to make sure that it is the moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. You also want to make sure that you use a protectant on the hair. Some type of pomade some type of silk something that will help to protect the hair daily and also add a sunscreen for your color. We want to make sure that it stays vibrant and shiny throughout the duration before you get another color. So lets recap. She recently got her hair colored and we want to make sure that we keep it protected until the next service at the salon. So make sure that you use a deep conditioning shampoo also complement it with a deep conditioning conditioner. Remember to pick products that are sufficient for your hair type.
