"You know one of the insects that cause a great deal of discomfort for our pets and sometimes for us as human beings is the common flea. Hi, I am Captain Joe Bruni and what we're going to talk about is how to treat the common flea bite. Take something like a washcloth with hot water and soap. Use the soapy washcloth to wash the effected area. This will also help to to remove any fleas that happen to remain in the area. While also cleansing and cleaning the area where the flea bites have occurred. Some type of hydra cortisone cream can then be applied to the area to help reduce itching and swelling that may come from flea bites. If there is a continued problem with swelling and itching after the hydros-cortisone cream has been applied. Some type of oral antihistamine may be in order. Few things can cause as much pain and discomfort as the common flea bite. Not only to our to our pets but to us as human beings. Wash the area with soap hydro cortisone cream and even applying ice at times to help reduce swelling and the itching aspects of this type of injury. I am Captain Joe Bruni.
