"You know, few things can be as frustrating as being bothered by the common pesky mosquito. Hi, I'm Captain Joe Bruni, and what I'm going to talk about is how to avoid mosquito bites in general. One of the common things that can be done is to wear long type of clothing, which is long pants and long sleeves that close at the wrist and the ankle areas. The pant legs can be tucked into the socks, and the ankles can also be sprayed with some type of chemical containing deet or permethrin. Permethrin is not made to be applied to the skin. Clothing is treated with this chemical, or you can buy this chemical and treat your own clothing, but never apply that chemical to the skin. Also, another way to avoid the pesky mosquito is to avoid being outdoors during dawn or dusk, when the mosquitoes are most active. Avoid standing water, and even avoid such things as lotions and perfumes that may attract certain types of mosquitoes. All of these steps taken in combination of each other are one way to avoid many bites from the common mosquito. I'm Captain Joe Bruni. Stay safe, and we'll see ya' next time."
