"I started playing music really late, actually. I was sixteen years old, when I picked up my first guitar, and fell in love immediately. Started teaching. I had about forty students, after about seven months, of playing guitar. I don't know. It just came to me, and I just loved it, and it was my life, so I started that. Joined a band, classic, this is cliche. I joined a band, played some rock and roll music. Found this school that did music recordings, so obviously, the natural steps are, get inspired, play your favorite songs. Now, you want to get in a band, and now you want to record an album, for that ultimate rock star status, so being a rock star, was definitely my motivation, to get going. Once I got to school, it was a nice, big, across the face. They're letting you know it's definitely possible, but there's a lot more to it, than people think. Let's see, after that, I moved to Toronto, up in Canada, and my current business partner, James Chapel, he and I got this first full feature, and we were going to do sound design, which we learned in school. We got this feature, and it was awesome. We were super excited. We were at a college, and we got a movie, and it was like yeah man, we're doing this. Went on, did it, did it. There was a guy in charge of our, like a kind of a coordinator for us, and when the money came in, he took all of our money, and paid off his drug debt, which was hilarious, so we bailed out of Toronto, regrouped, went back, and we met our third business partner, Brian Pickett. Brian's like, dudes, you guys want to start a music house? and I was like, I didn't even know what a freaking music house was, to be honest with you, and I was, like at that time I had nothing to lose, so I'm like yeah, let's do it, so we met and we talked. Essentially, the job title of music producer, just fell into the laps by default, because we got this first little workout video, made of like three hours of dance music. I like dance music, but it was crazy, so we did that, and then another gig, and then a Samsung commercial came in, and that was like, I thought that was like, the highlight of my life, and it kept going and going, and at this point now, the leap of faith that we all became part of, it was on. We were running full tilt. There was no turning back, and it just kept building, and building, and building, and patience. Patience is everything. Yeah, it took a long time. We've been open ten years now, and things are wonderful now, but it took time, and it took patience, and it took belief in yourself, that you can do it, and kind of having nothing to lose is also a good place to be, too, and what I've figured out over time, is that it's all about you, and I don't mean in a selfish way. I mean believe in yourself, and get it."
