"Hello, I'm Russ Handler with another tip on Passover. I'll tell you what, my friends, the Seder, it is perhaps one of the most joyous occasions of the year for us Jews, either new at the game or traditionally involved for our entire lives. It's a great time of the year when we all get together with our family and friends. Now, when you're setting the Passover table for your Seder, keep in mind the first thing that you're going to build your table around is going to be the Seder plate. Now, this could either be something fine, like the one I have here, this was actually from Israel, made in Israel. But, you don't necessarily need something fancy. You could use a big white dish, if you'd like, that's somewhat fancy. Or, if you're not with the means, you could use whatever suits you the best. Remember, it's about being together with family and friends not about being fancy shmancy. As we move on, I want to remind you that you should use your best linens and your best table settings available to you. Again, don't go overboard but, whatever you have available, use the best. Because this is that one time of year where we truly, truly celebrate a lot of great things. You'll want your Seder books as well. Make sure that each member of the table has one, because they're very important, they're going to help guide you through the Seder in a very, very productive matter. And keep in mind that, whoever is going to be the leader of the table, or the leader of the Seder, generally the eldest in the family, should be seated at the end. And before him, you should have the matzah and a few other things as listed in the article next to us. But, I want to remind you that whether you are the fanciest person on earth with the means to perform a beautiful Seder table, or whether you don't have the means to perform a beautiful and elaborate table setting, keep in mind that's not what this is about. It's about telling the story of the exodus of the Jews from Egypt three thousand years ago. Whether you do it in an opulent manner or whether you do it on a picnic table, it doesn't matter. Just tell the story, be together with friends and family, and enjoy yourself. I'm Russ Handler and I look forward to seeing you in Temple."
