"The reason why we chose to adopt a child internationally, when we get asked this quite often, is where, you know, you meet other parents, say "Why'd you decide to adopt internationally?" And the easy, short answer is, "Well, because my children were born in Guatemala, so I went to get them there." And, that's the answer you can give to people, it's a short quick answer. But the real answer is, of course a lot more involved, in that we had to find a country that we felt comfortable with, that we felt like we could keep in contact with, that our children would feel connected to even though they were no longer going to be living in that country. And Guatemala worked perfectly for us, and we're very happy with it. We love the people of Guatemala, and all of their cultures, and, of course we love our children, you know, more that we can even imagine saying. So, we're very happy with our decision to adopt internationally."
