"Hi, my name is Sarah Badar, and my farm is Lavender Stone Gate, here in Weslyn, Oregon. One question that I get often, is, can lavender be grown inside as a houseplant? The reality is, it's best to grow lavender outside. It, what it needs to thrive, is at least six to eight hours of full sun. It needs to have plenty of room to grow, and it also needs to be in a condition where it could get good drainage. So, growing a lavender plant inside, in a sunny window, may be an option for a really short period of time. But, in reality, if you want a healthy, happy, lavender plant, what you're going to want to do is, plant it outside, give it plenty of room to grow, full sun, and then it will thrive for many, many, years to come."
