"Hi, my name's Amy Kistler, and I'm going to talk about the benefits of having a personal trainer. There are millions of benefits of having a personal trainer. For one thing, you get a personalized workout program. You get to understand and feel comfortable in the weight room. You get a chance to work one on one and have somebody motivate you the whole time, which is huge. You know, whenever you go to the gym, I know that you really don't want to go and do those squats, so if you have somebody there with you, pushing you, do you think that's something that's going to make you want to do it? Definitely. In cases where people might be overweight or just plain and simple wanted to get a little healthy, wanted to get a six pack, personal trainers can help people accomplish these goals. For one thing, someone that is on beta blockers, you actually with exercise can have the chance to get off these beta blockers. People that are diabetic, you can change your ways through exercise and eating, and a personal trainer can help you do this. Other things like, let's say just not having enough energy throughout the day because you don't know the proper way to exercise. You don't know the proper way to eat. Just having a personal trainer help you and teach you and go through exercises with you, can change your life for the better. It can make you feel more energetic, it can make you sleep better, it can make you get off your antidepressants. With a personal trainer, you have the chance to invest in the most important asset: your health. Your health is the most important asset in your life. And when it comes to money, I would say you probably put, what, $200 into your car a month, maybe a little bit more. Why would you not put more than $200 into your health? I would think that you--I hope--I would think that you think your health is more important than your car. So, it is such a great experience and such a great opportunity to invest in your health."
