"Hi, my name's Melissa Maggiore with Alessi Bakeries in Tampa, Florida. I'm going to be showing you how to trim the board, the corrugated board, off of your second tier to actually apply it to your bottom tier of your wedding cake. You're basically going to need a small serrated knife such as this. You're going to just gently cut into the corrugated board, pulling the corrugated board down towards the bottom of your cake wheel or platform, making sure that you don't get too close to the cake because you don't really want to take any cake off with the board, but you don't actually want to have any board left over either. Then you're simply going to have your next tier of cake that's going to be the perfect size to go on your next wedding cake column support. My name is Melissa Maggiore with Alessi Bakeries in Tampa, Florida, and I've just shown you how to remove the corrugated board off of your middle tier to place on the top of your bottom tier of your wedding cake."
