"Hi, my name is Ashley Ludman, from Seaside Yoga. I'm here today to talk to you about Bikram Yoga, and specifically, the question, is Bikram Yoga good for flattening abdominals? So any yoga is beneficial in weight loss, and contracting the abdominal muscles, if you do the style of yoga properly. Bikram Yoga, specifically, is a yoga that's practiced in a hot room, so not only are you exercising the muscles, and creating a contract and release of the abdominal muscles, within each pose and within each breath, but you're also met with a hot room, and essentially, sweating out your toxins, and sweating out lots of water weight too, so flattening your stomach is, it's a little bit of a puzzle. You have to observe correct eating habits. You have to observe correct abdominal control, and contraction, through asana practice, and Bikram Yoga does help with increasing the detoxification benefits, through the external heat, that you'll find, so is Bikram Yoga effective for flattening your stomachs?
