"Hi, my name is Ashley Ludman from Seaside Yoga and I'm here to tell you about how to wash your yoga mat. So, first of all it will depend on the type of yoga mat that you have. If you have a special eco-friendly or rubber mat you may want to ask the distributor, the manufacturer directly about your particular mat. If you use just any type of standard sticky tapas mat is what their called then these actually can just get put right in the washing machine on your regular wash cycle. You can hang them out to dry, I wouldn't recommend putting them in the dryer. Just drying naturally is fine. You can also between washes such as as that, spray them off with some mild soap and then make sure that you wipe them with a nice warm wash rag to get off the soapy residue. In between that drying time, you can just wipe it down with a regular cloth. If you don't tend to sweat a lot in your yoga practice, you may only need to wipe your mat down or wash it every few weeks or so. But, that's how you would wash your yoga mat. Thanks a lot."
