"So, I guess a big part of it is the instant gratification of being able to fix things, and you know, people thinking, hey, you're a hero yeah, yeah. Of course, you know, you don't hear about all the; all of the good; you only hear a lot about the; when some thing's wrong. Very few times, you get a; hey, I want to thank you for what you done; but you know, sometimes you do. And you know, if you're; you know, it can be stressful. If you're good at it and you're not; you don't have; you're calm under pressure, and you find opportunity in challenge, then you can have a lot of; a lot of rewarding moments because you can; you know, everybody knows there's going to be problems, but if you're able to, you know, keep the right people on the; on the team; on the problem at hand and be able to fend off, you know, GM or whoever is coming at you; get this fixed, you know. There's a lot of rewarding moments because, at the end of it, everybody's thanking you. So, if you can just keep focused on the issues and, you know, get them fixed, there's a lot of gratifying moments. I think most of it would be a lot of sleepless nights. I mean, if things are going wrong, you know, depending on what; if you're on the on-call list or whatever, you're getting paged all the time and people are calling after hours, especially if you're in a twenty-four seven shop like a web host or whatever. So, there can be a lot of unplanned time away from home, you know, when stuff just; cause stuff breaks. I mean that's just how; it's the nature of the beast, you know. So, I think that would be, probably, the most; you know the, the things that stand out to me most is always having interruptions unless, you know, unless you're able to delegate on call and stuff like that to other people; and also, if certain things don't go right, you're the first to hear about it from the powers that be."
