"Now on the control pointing forward there's a headphone jack for people who are recording and for the mixing engineer. You have a headphone jack that can be controlled by this headphone volume right here. By clicking it on and off you can turn the headphones on and off. This is very important if you're recording in a place that doesn't have such a solid roof or soundproofing. What you can do is turn the volume all the way down in the monitor speakers and put on your headphones so that the recording engineer and the person recording are the only sound that's coming out. So this limits the amount of noise that will go into the mic and the amount of sound that will leak in. This is going to help provide for better recording and better noise to singing ratio. You end up with more of the sound and less of this background noise that's kind of going to make your mix dirty. It's a lot of the things that you don't need. This is very helpful in places like home recording and things like that and just providing a cleaner, better sound. More perfect because there's less noise and background noise that's in your recording and it's going to be way more cleaner."
