"So a freestyle board which you are looking at right here is usually when you get one you want to get one in a shorter length because they are easier to maneuver but as far as the board goes they will be softer than a free ride board because a free ride board is used to hold an edge pretty much but a free style board is more forgiving on jumps and rails if you want to do that. Rail boards are really really forgiving. A freestyle board will have a side cut which is how much the edge cuts in. The side cut will be pretty moderate compared to a free ride board. The flex changes throughout the board but it is softer than free ride boards, softer than a pipe board and there is different types of construction, there is all different types of gimmicks but basically if you can, go to a mountain and get a board and find out what you like from there. That is the best way to do from there and they'll tell you all about it and try to sell you their product but I would say go try a board that you like if you are looking for a freestyle board."
