"The next piece of gear you are going to need for snowboarding is the pants. The pants are probably the most important part because you want to keep your legs comfortable at all times since that is what you are using the most. It is absolutely imperative to get an insulated pant on top of that you definitely want a layer underneath it. By layering I would not suggest long underwear you want to get something that is made out of a wickable material that will allow your body heat to breathe through it without making it damp. Beyond that most pants usually have little adjusters to accommodate if you don't fit the exact size on them. As you can see in this pant right here already has something similar to a thermal underwear for thermal insulation. Towards the bottom of the legs they have this little inner leg that you can pull over the boot so nothing gets into your feet and again you definitely want something insulated versus uninsulated."
