"We're going to now talk about how we rinse the car, get it wet, and get it prepared to start washing. Of course, water is our most important element here. My favorite way to wash the vehicle is to actually use a pressure washer. If we grab a pressure washer like this, what we're going to try to do is knock off the loose dirt, the mud, the bugs. We're going to clean under the the wheel wells. We're going to clean the wheels, the tires themselves. The pressure washer allows us to use a high pressure to knock that loose stuff off, so that as we start washing it it's not going to scratch or damage the paint. Now of course you can use a hose. I prefer to, when I use a hose, to put a high-pressured nozzle on the top. It also gives us the ability to turn the water on and off, so as I'm working on the vehicle, the water's not running down the, you know, down the sewer or onto the grass, or you know, being wasted. But it also gives us a little bit of pressure if we put some high-pressured nozzle on here, so we can spray and knock the dirt, and and the grime and off the car. What you do want to be careful with at this point is that A, you don't scratch your car by allowing the metal part; so a lot of times, with the nozzle they'll have rubber gaskets or something, so you're not hitting or scratching the vehicle. And when you're using a pressure washer, you do want to be cautious with the tip. First of all, to not allow it to hit, scratch the the vehicle. Additionally, this can offer a lot of pressure, and if you get too close you can peel off paint, and cause damage to chrome or lift other parts of the the, and damage the body, so we want to be cautious there."
