"Hi it's Dow here at the Fire House Car Wash Detail Shop. Today we're talking about detailing your power boat. And one of the things we want to cover is we just talked about waxing the boat. It would be a problem if we failed to mention how important it is to take good care of your trailer. Today's trailers are made to withstand a lot of abuse. We also want to keep the paint clean, clear, shiny and protected here. The trailer goes in and out of the water, it's metal, it's prone to rust. So if we keep it protected, if we keep it painted properly, if you get rock chips keep them covered up. You know have some touch up paint to keep them, so we don't have exposed metal. And then the easiest way probably to apply wax here, and we talked about wax selection. Since I've already got my polymer based paint sealant, I'm going to go ahead and just use that same thing on my trailer. I'm going to use a applicator pad here, because it's pretty easy. And I'm just going to simply go over the trailer, and get all the parts you know that I can reach by hand. You know the only the hardest parts of waxing either the boat or the trailer is you've got to be willing to get on your back a little bit. Maybe have a floor dolly that you can lay down and get under side the boat. But you know it gives you a chance to get here, get wax just about every where you possibly can, let that dry to a finish. Simply after that just get your micro fiber towel, polish it back up. Now we've got a protected trailer surface, again protecting your investment, enhancing the look of it, and the overall satisfaction of your boat ownership."
