"Hi this is Dow with the Fire House Detail Shop today we're talking about how to detail a boat like a professional. Now if you've got a boat, you know your investment, you know you want to keep it clean. The trailer is equally important to make sure that it functions properly and it looks good. Because as you're riding down you want your whole ride to look good. So I'm going to demonstrate on this wheel up here because it's a little bit easier to get to. Today's boats and trailers are just simply amazing, we're grateful for Mastercraft and the Utah Watersports dealership, Wayne over there today donating the use of this boat so we can do some demonstration. When we've got a chrome wheel like this, you know, the best thing we've found is a non-acid wheel cleaner. Again this is a professional detail product. You can just come in here and just coat the whole wheel, and often you'll have brake dust. One of the things you'll find with the a lot of the older trailers is you've got the grease fitting here that will throw grease off, so you'll often find a really greasy dirty wheel. And something like this or even a degreaser will help cut through that. Again you want to let that sit for a minute, and then go in with either a brush or just your old fashioned car washing mitt. And go in there and just work over the wheel. These chrome wheels they're a little more work, but nothing looks better when they're nice and clean. So work over the wheel and the tire when you're finished. Just make sure it gets nice and clean, and then rinse that off with soap, or rinse the soap off with water. And if you've got some damage on there, I would recommend getting a chrome polish. After we've got that done dry it all off after it's rinsed, you can polish the chrome and of course we're going to want to dress these tires with a nice dressing. Which we'll cover in our dressing segment in a little bit."
