"Hi, it's Dow here at the Fire House Car Wash Detail Shop. Today we're teaching you how to detail your boat, your motor boat, like a professional. Now we've got the boat out of the water, which we think is the easiest place to do it. After we found the proper location it's so important that we get started with the proper products. And we've got an assortment of products that we're going to use today. A little bit here a little bit there. I wouldn't expect the average person, at home, to have all these products on their shelf. But, the more you have for the specific uses, the better off we're going to do and the better job you're going to be able to do. Products that are professional quality are going to give you superior results and, typically, with today's investments in boats you don't want to take any shortcuts. Boats are in hard water conditions, they're in the sunlight a lot, so we want to have products that has good UV protection to protect the vinyl inside to protect the gel coat. And so, we get all of our products from a professional detail supplier called Buddco, here in Utah. They have a website it's Ebuddco, that's E-B-U-D-D-C-O .com. You can contact them to pick them up or visit your local detail supplier. What I don't recommend is just your standard kitchen cleaners without understanding what they can do, you know what they can do, the harm they can cause. A product like Windex, for example, if it's used in the wrong place on tinted windows, will, the ammonia in it will destroy the window tint. So you want to be careful of things like that. You don't want to use flammable products, you don't want to misuse products, and you don't want your boat to be slimy or gooey or have residue things on your vinyl, where you're going to be when your wet. Causes, you know you can slip you can do everything. So, I don't take lightly using the wrong products because it's not only a safety hazard, it just doesn't end in the result you're going to be happy with when you're out on the lake. So look for professional boat detailing supplies, like these we're going to use here today."
