"In this segment we're going to cover, adjusting the exhaust valve, cylinder number 1, part 2. We've already adjusted the other valve, we're going to repeat the procedure once again. First breaking the retaining net free, backing it off, rotate it slowly until it's snug, about 15 to 20 degrees. This isn't the specifications that's in the book, this is just what I found tends to work out. Just when you feel the snugness of it, that little extra turn gets the tension that's required to have a good firm fit of the gage. Now I've got it broken free, I'll go ahead and ensure the gage again. Yes, this can be a little difficult sometimes. All these parts are well lubricated and oily, so it can be difficult to hold it in place while you're making the adjustments. Now re-check it, and that's good and snug. And that will conclude, adjusting the exhaust valve, cylinder number 1, part 2. Please watch our next segment on, rotating the crank shaft. After we've adjusted the valves on cylinder number 1, we need to rotate the engine 180 degrees, and that brings up the next cylinder in the firing order, and that will be cylinder number 3."
