"The next thing we're going to do is put a base of I-Clay on the bottom of the eggshell. This is where the marble is going to sit. We tried to make it a even amount, spread evenly, so that the eggshell will be balanced. We take a small glob of the I-Clay and it really doesn't matter exactly how much, just so that it would make a nice bed of I-Clay, just to place the marble on the inside. You can see we just kind of dab it around onto the bottom, spreading it out. You can make a little bit of an indentation in the middle so that the marble will sit inside. Again, it's important just to kind of spread it as evenly as possible, just so that the entire eggshell will be balanced. There is another option, when making this project, to actually fill the eggshell with the I-Clay and create the small little chicken and once it's all done, to actually chip away the eggshell from around the I-Clay so the eggshell really works kind of like a mold. It will give the shape to the I-Clay of like a rounded egg and the chicken will be sitting on top so that's one option. Or, you could leave the eggshell and the chicken could be sticking its head out from underneath, either way. If you do decide to break away the eggshell and show the I-Clay underneath, one of the things you might want to do, at this point, is put different colors of I-Clay inside so when you chip away the eggshell, you'll actually see those colors coming out and the chicken will be sitting on various colors of the I-Clay and it'll be a much more nicer effect. That's if you want to use the eggshell as a kind of mold to give the I-Clay shape and, in the end, chip all the eggshells away. So, that's a different option or you can leave the eggshell intact and just have the chicken sitting on top, coming out."
