Video Transcript

"Today I'm going to show you how to make a small chicken, in an egg, that's going to be like a Humpty Dumpty wobbling chicken in an egg and we're going to make it from scratch, that's a real egg. This particular one, that you see now, is not one hundred percent finished but I wanted to just show you, to get an idea of the project that we're going to be making. So, lets see the supplies that we're going to need to make this small chicken. We're going to need a fork, which will be used to crack the shell of the egg, we're going to be using a bowl, to drain the egg, we're going to need a egg that is not cook, this is a raw egg. We're going to be using something called I-Clay, it's a type of a rubbery soft molding clay. It's synthetic but when it's left in the air it dries, it gets to a harder consistency. It comes in a lot of different colors. We're also going to be using some food coloring to change the colors, when we create our small chicken. The clay itself, the I-Clay, comes in different colors that you can buy them without using the food coloring. We're going to need a large marble. This marble is going to sit inside the lower half of the eggshell and it's going to act as the base so that the whole thing will wobble a little bit. It's going to also give it some weight so that is going to sit at the bottom half of the eggshell, it's a large marble. We're going to also need some markers and a paint brush and some paint. All of these things will be used to decorate the final product, something that we have not done to the chicken that we're looking at now. We haven't decorated yet but the markers and the paint will be used to put some final details on the project and then, as I mentioned, we have our food coloring and a small bowl, to add some color to the I-Clay."
