What do you do? Or your ironing board breaks. And that's been known to happen. You just want to find a nice long, flat, sturdy surface. And you want to make sure it's not made of anything like plastic or it has some sort of cheap plasticy finish on it because of course the heat from the iron will melt it. But regardless what it's made out of, wood, stone, you want to make sure you protect your surface and you clothing by laying a towel across it. Actually, I'm going to. And also make sure it's a nice thin, I use beach towels when I do this. You don't want a really thick bath towel. It's almost a little too thick and it's hard to get that nice smooth lines into what your ironing if your towel is too puffy. So you can just lay a very simple towel over a flat surface, kitchen table, counter top anything like that should do. Get your iron and you're ready to go."
