"Now we're going to cut our first piece of felt, which will be the same size as the cardboard that we cut, so we're going to again use our plate to measure the size. And when you make your measurement, it's always good to place the plate, or whatever you're using for, for the, for the size, to get it close to the edges, one, because it will be easier to cut. You'll have some some guide marks to go by, that you'll only have to cut around corners, and also, it helps you save material, which is important if you work in crafts. All these little pieces of material could be used for something. The scraps from cutting around the felt can actually be used for decorations, cutting up into small shapes, and for, especially for little kids, it's it's something for them to do. They love to glue, and ever everything can be used. Nothing needs to go to waste. So you just cut around, and make sure that you're keeping it according to its, to the right shape. You can use both the plate and the cardboard now to measure, and again, it's easier just to go closer to the edges so that you don't have to do a lot of cutting. You can just, kind of just clip the corners, and that's probably the easiest way to do it. But don't try and cut; if you feel like you're going out of the lines, don't don't continue. It's better to stop and take the plate or the cardboard, measure it again, and draw new lines; even if if you have to, even make new lines, and then start cutting again, because you really want the shape to to be con consistent with the, with the background that you're using. The felt is a little bit harder to cut, because you can get a lot of jagged edges when as you're going around in a circle, so the first thing you should make sure is that you have a really good scissors, and you can get a nice sharp cut that'll minimize the jagged edges. But also, as you're, as you're going around, it's it's good to make small cuts and make sure that you're sticking to the lines. We could always be trimmed afterwards, any kind of edges that are sticking out. But it's good to go around, and be very careful with the, with the cutting parts, the cutting steps of this project that will really help, will make a difference in the look of your project. Once we're done, we should take the felt, and make sure that it goes over our cardboard that we're going to be using. It should cover the entire thing. You don't want to have anything, any of the cardboard sticking out. That really wouldn't look nice. And once we have it, then we can get ready to permanently affix it to the cardboard that we've, that we're going to use as the dartboard."
