"The next thing we're going to do is called the broad jump. And the broad jump is a series of panels which the dog has to jump over. When you're teaching the broad jump, you need to start with them not fully together. So I would start with just two. Tell him jump. Good boy! Then we'll add another one. Come on. And I would get him to jump a little bit longer. Jump! Good boy! And we got a little extra jump out of him there. And then you add the third one. And what we want to do is get him to go over the bigger jump. And I call this, big jump. Go big jump! Good boy! They have to clear the entire span. They can't step on it. They can't knock them over. So the slow progression is the best way to go. You'll also want to make sure you're giving it a good clear name. And you also want to be able to send the dog over it without running with them. So now I need to tell him, "go big jump". Good boy! And get him to come back to you."
