"The next thing we're going to teach them is the table. The table's called a contact obstacle. And the thing with the contact obstacle is they actually have to get all four feet on. And to start training, what you want to do is to bring them on with a treat. Treat them on there. Once again give your obstacle a name. This is table. So I want to get her on here and say table. Good girl. Okay. Release them to get off. You want to bring them up again. Table. Now we want to get a fit on the table. Good girl! Lots of treats and release them. Okay. Come on. As we progress, we actually want to get to where we're sending them to the table from a distance. How you would do that is set a target on there but with our more advanced dogs, they should go on their own. Misha, go table. Sit! Hurry. Good girl! You can always get a quicker sit than that but some dogs, especially our older ones, they tend to be a little bit slower."
