Dog Agility Training: Panel Jumping

"The next thing we're going to do is called the Panel Jump. The Panel Jump, the difference between a Bar Jump and a Panel Jump is the actual panel. What you need to do with the Panel Jump is to set one panel on and get them to go over the same way you did the Bar Jump. "Jump". As they go over it, "jump", you can start adding panels. The difference with the panels is that they can't see what's on the other side, so you have to give them new sweat little by little. "Nesha jump, good girl". You can combine them with the regular bar jump to where you got, "jump, jump, good girl". You also can do the same thing with this as you did with the other jump, is to start getting them to stay and this gets into a lot of handling. It goes, "jump, jump, good girl". You want to show a lot of enthusiasm with your reward system, "yes you're good". Keep all training with agility as positive as possible, because we want it to be fun for the dogs. And we also want it to be fun for us."
