"We just did those dynamic lunges and you are probably feeling it. If not, you'll feel it tomorrow. Now we are going to do the static lunges. Static lunges, bring that left foot forward, like I said it doesn't matter as long as you do both. With the static lunge you are going to keep your legs exactly where they are at all times and you are going to dip down so the best thing to remember with the static lunge is you need your feet about hip width apart. So if it helps start here and then bring that leg forward because remember hip width apart and then you want to come on down, whoops there we go, come on down and bring your leg down. Remember on a lunge you never want your knee to go past your toes, knees never go past your toes and the reason for this is we don't want to injure our knees. We don't care so much if we injure our toes but we definitely don't want to injure our knees. If it helps I like to clap sometimes when I do them of course that just screwed me up. You've got to do what you have got to do. Then you just want to switch legs. Again if you are new do two sets of ten and if you've been doing it for a while maybe do sets of 15 or 20. Challenge yourself and bring your left leg forward, right leg is going to go back and you are going to come on down, come on down, remember feet are hip width apart as we are doing these static lunges, make sure you do both legs, don't cheat yourself, maintain that balance and pull that belly button into the spine and once you do your sets you are done, you're good to go and you too will be an expert at the bosu."
