Obesity rates are up. Many people say they don't have the time to workout with their busy schedules. All it takes is a few minutes to get a complete workout in the comfortable settings of home. A StairMaster or step machine along with exercise bands are great weapons for staying in shape. These two items combined will help achieve muscle tone and provide a great cardio workout. Joining an expensive gym or getting up at 4 a.m. to run around the neighborhood are not the only ways to get in great shape. In this free video on exercise equipment, let a group fitness instructor explain how to use a StairMaster workout machine. First, she discusses the differences between an indoor workout and outdoor stair workout, the benefits of using a StairMaster and proper posture when on a step machine. Then she talks about getting a good arm, bicep, deltoid and cardio workout. Finally, she goes over the importance of stretching after a workout.
"We're going to talk about the difference between indoor steppin' versus outdoor steppin'. Might sound a little simp, silly to you, but I remember when I was like eighteen years old. I was dating this guy and he took me to Yosemite, and we had to climb all the way up these stairs, and he said this is the best stair master you will ever find. And I think that's so true, but sometimes we don't have the opportunity to go to Yosemite or even I we, when I was visiting LA they had these great opportunities to just go up these steps. If you live in a city, Lake Havasu City has some great steps. I'm obviously in Arizona, otherwise, I probably wouldn't have said Lake Havasu City; that's Lake Havasu City, Arizona, or you're in LA, or someplace where you can find some great steps, I recommend you go outside and enjoy the great indoors, and do your stair steppin' out there. In Phoenix we have Camelback Mountain. You got some steps there. But if not, go ahead and go to the store, and buy yourself a nice little stair master, and this will give you the opportunity to at least get ready, and then when you do have that opportunity to go to Camelback, or LA, or Lake Havasu City, or Camelback Mountain, or wherever you are, find those stairs outside and you'll be ready, because you'll have had the opportunity and training, while steppin' inside."
