"I have a little ice pack. I have knee braces too, that come in handy every once in awhile on a steep down hill trail. Oh, I have antiseptic ointments, Neosporin, New Skin, alcohol pads, that sort of thing. So, that's my first aid kit. I can make it a little more compact if I, if I want to. I'm going to throw it all back in there right now, tidy it up later. And, I also in my pack, have snacks. Fruit is heavy to carry on the trail, so I'll take care of that as soon as possible. I've got one, one of my favorite things to have on the trial, actually, is the protein afforded by almonds. That's, that's really my favorite trail food. You can tell this bag's been in the pack awhile. Some people like sugar, I don't especially. Another thing I like to have in my pack is a way to write a note, just in case. And I have been on a trail, in situations where there was a little emergency arose, and we needed to leave a note. So, I'll have a, an, a permanent marker, that'll keep the note there, in case it rains, and, and a little bit of paper. And, and also, this is a field notebook, too. I might want to take some notes along the way. Maps are always fun to pull out. Another thing that's fun to have on the trail are, are poems or readings that are appropriate to the situation."
