Video Transcript

"Alright, next we're going to show you exercises for your upper back. In order to do this, you're going to need a bench or a bed or some piece of furniture that you can kneel down on. And then you'll need to either save up a little money and buy some dumbbells or you can use a soup can or gallon of milk or anything that's heavy and get your hands around. So what Amy's going to do, she's going to put one knee down on the piece of furniture to protect her lower back. Then she's going to put her hand down to support her upper back. And now she's going to take her left hand and hang it out to the side, reach just a little bit forward, get a good stretch. And now she's going to pull her elbows as high as she can up towards the ceiling. This is just like starting the land mower. As she does this, this is going to work her lats, her upper outer back. Now if shes' good, she's going to make sure to breathe out as she comes up, if not, just breathe, don't hold your breath. Get a good stretch as you come down. As you come up to the ceiling, try to flex that upper back as hard as you can."
