Summary: Try to get an accurate head count via RSVPs for a St. Patrick's Day party. Prepare for the right amount of people attending a St. Patrick's Day Party with tips from a party planner in this free social events video.
"Just because you're sending out your invitations back here, and your party's up here, doesn't mean that you, after you sent the invitations, oh, that's it, everything is fine. No, no, no, no, no. You've got to keep an accurate head count. You've got to probably send a couple reminders. Make sure, hey, R.S.V.P., are you guys going to come? Are you guys game? Are you cool? Because as the party gets closer, if you end up actually having a higher head count than you originally planned, you might need more supplies. You might need more drink. You might need more sweets. You might need more things like dip. You might need more chips. It basically all behooves you to make sure and keep an accurate head count going forward towards your party. It doesn't have to be down to the person. You don't have to be quite that retentive about it, but you do have to keep a general idea of how many people are going to be coming to your St. Patrick's Day party. If you, the day of the party, you have fifty people show up and you expected ten, you're going to have, well, let me say, you're going to have a food and drink problem. Conversely, if you expected fifty people and five show up, you're going to have a whole lot of food you're going to be throwing out, a huge waste. So make sure and keep tabs as things get closer. Make sure you're keeping aware who's coming, are they bringing friends, girlfriends, boyfriends, cousins, half-cousins?"
