"And balancing out all that drink you have at your St. Patrick's Day party, you need to have some good food on account. People are going to want to eat stuff. They are going to want to have you know, like munchies and finger food and stuff. St. Patricks' Day is not like shall we say a connoisseur's you know, dinner deluxe. You know, basic stuff will work. I highly recommend having crackers, you can also have chips, popcorn puffs, or popcorn itself is really good. Having salsa and dips is really good for your party as well. And don't forget, with all your basic carb staples which are really really good at sucking up people who are taking too much alcohol and generally keep them, you know, coherent. Also have some sweets. Have some chocolates, caramels. You can also have you know, green sprinkled cookies. I mean you can even you know like get a little more St. Patrick's themesy with some food. Although at most St. Patrick's Day parties I've gone to, any type of themes that focus more on the beverage side of it and less on the food. But you can do that. You know, goat cheese, dips, things that people are going to be able to have so they're not getting hungry. You don't want your guests getting grumpy. And even if they've come there to have a good time and have you know, several drinks, they're going to want food. Most guests are going to get grumpy and crabby if they show up and all you have is basically napkins and plates."
