"One of the last steps in our leprechaun pants are having a big belt buckle. Now there are a couple of requirements for this belt buckle, you can't just choose any belt. You need to make sure you have a relatively large buckle, which this belt does. It doesn't have to be enormous, it can be if you want to go that route, but it doesn't have to be. But you have to have a definite, pronounced buckle. It can't be any type of zipping mechanism or buttoning mechanism. No, we need a buckle; a nice, old-fashioned buckle. So the other thing is, I highly recommend having the belt itself be black. Now you have brown belts, and black belts, you know the type that aren't associated with any type of martial arts. This type of black belt is going to really have a good contrast for our green costume. So, at this point, with our stockings and pants on, it's time to put on our belt. Now your green pants should have nice loops around them, so just like you put a lot of other pants on... you're doing this for the first time? Man, you must be young. So, definitely loop the belt around your pants, all the way, making sure you catch every single last loop. You're going to come around the front here, making sure that your pants are riding up over your hips. In this case I have a pair of looser pants on, so the belt will be very welcome. Make it cinch until it's tight. Now in this case your belt's also going to be exposed across the midsection, right above the pants. It's going to form a barrier between the lower costume, which we've now covered, and moving up towards the top."
