"In this clip we are going to look at the features of what we call a hybrid kayak in detail. So again you want contact points this boat has handles on the balance stern that you can grab whether you are carrying the boat or swimming with the boat and it has got a huge, huge stern hatch so you can really get some big stuff in here, sleeping bags, small tents, what have you and if you are just going out for the day, super dry. So you can throw your lunch and clothing in there, a good size cockpit here but it is small enough that we can have five braces that really grab your body so you can work the boat, edging the boat and pushing the boat a lot easier with your big muscles in your legs and your lats. There is a drink holder under here and a substantial seat back so a lot of people that would like to have a sea kayak but don't want one for whatever reason this is a good way for them to segue from a recreational boat towards a sea kayak, towards something with more performance which means you are going to use less energy throughout the day in a longer leaner and faster boat but it doesn't have to be a twitching boat and you are scared that you are going to flip it. It could be something like this that is rock solid but still has some spirit to it. Deck bungees on the floor deck is kind of my chart room on my kayak so I put charts here, you might have your bilge pump to get water out of the boat or what have you, a bottle of water, another dry storage compartment and these kinds of dry storage compartments with the rubber hatches they really are the business, they really are dry. Another carry point at the bow. This particular boat has got these rings on it so you could cable lock this on to your vehicle or on to a rack outside your house so nobody can walk off with your baby and really a nice feature on this particular boat so to bring it all together, recreational boat, kind of a cross between, I'm sorry a hybrid kayak, kind of a cross between a recreational boat that has got the stability and a larger cockpit of a recreational boat, but it has got more speed and more storage like a sea kayak."
