"In this clip, we're going to look at some of the features in detail, of what we call a hybrid boat. And just what is a hybrid boat. Well you can see comparing it to the recreational boat, it's a longer and leaner boat with a little bit smaller cockpit, and bigger storage compartments on the boat. So, the other thing is that the storage compartment hatch covers are a different type of manufacturer. These are, like, really like they're big Tupperware hatches. They're really dry, they're really easy to get on and off, and you can see they're much bigger. So, you can get three days worth of camping gear in a boat like this if you want. You've got deck bungees on the front, so this is your chart room, you can put charts under here, you could put a bilge pump under here, a paddle float. On the stern, you've got a bigger hatch for storage. You also have bungees back there that help for those self-rescues, those paddle float rescues we were talking about. The cockpit on this, you can see, is a little bit smaller and has thigh braces. Ronald, will you point out the thigh braces for us please. The thigh braces just cup his thighs so now he can work the boat with his legs, which you can't do in a recreational boat. So now you're -- that's a sea kayak. That's the biggest sea kayak feature on this boat, in my mind's eye, because now you can work the boat with those big muscle groups, so it takes less energy throughout the day to get the boat to go where you want. This boat isn't as lean or as long as a furlong kayak, but it's got a lot of the same characteristics without the commitment of the, what some people perceive as, instability of a skinnier boat."
