"Now I know what you are thinking, watercolors are hard, I can't paint with watercolors and we've touched on some of the things that just make painting with watercolors a lot of fun. You can use watercolor pencils, different kinds of those, you can actually use a toothbrush and instead of scrubbing the tile in your bathroom with it you can actually do fun things with watercolor paintings with it. You can go get some sandpaper and have a good time creating some different effects with sandpaper. You can just paint whatever you love to paint with watercolors. I loved cowboys and horses but I did not want to have them soft and kind of the ethereal kind of quality that you see in a lot of watercolor paintings. So because I am good with watercolors and I chose a subject matter that was not typical for watercolors, I had to create a technique that would work for me and using these tools and using some of these techniques that we are going to talk about I truly do think that you can do the same thing, you can have a lot of fun and get out of the "Oh my God watercolors are so hard" box and enjoy yourself. So those are my suggestions to have a little bit of fun with watercolor. Get out of the box, don't be afraid and just try something new."
