"So now Katie and I will be showing you how to do Ananda Balasana or Happy Baby Pose for women in their second trimester of pregnancy. It's a wonderful hip opening pose and it feels really lovely just to breathe deep into the belly, let the belly be soft in this pose. So starting from a seated position with your feet on the floor, go ahead and roll back into your back. Maybe come on to your forearms first and then lower down slow. So with the knees bent, feet flat on the floor, you're going to go ahead and draw the knees up towards the chest, so drawing the knees off the floor, the knees bend a lot so that you can really draw the knees down towards the floor and the feet are parallel to the ceiling. From here, see if you can go ahead and grab on to the outsides of the feet or maybe the big toes. Relax the shoulders down to the ground, let the belly be full and soft and I think the trick here is to allow the tail bone to draw down towards the floor at the same time. And maybe rock from side to side, if it feels uncomfortable at all to lay fully on your back, you can take a blanket and slide it under your right hip. "But Katie how do you feel right here"? "I, I feel fine, I'm not going to care a blanket." Okay. "Yeah". So go ahead and just breathe deeply, maybe draw the chin towards your throat, allow the throat to be soft, the back of the neck is nice and long and take full deep breaths from the belly all the way to the tops of the lungs. And then when you're ready to come out of the pose, go ahead release the toes with the feet, draw the feet back to the floor and just take a few moments on your back to breath deeply. And when you're ready you can drop the knees to the right side and roll over on to your right side and just take a moment in child's prefer, sorry, in this pose just to allow yourself to relax and slowly press yourself up using the top hand to a seated position. And that is your Happy Baby Pose."
