"This is a latch hook. Which can be bought at any craft store. Typically used to make latch hook rugs. In this case, with the cat that we made in the realism segment. The fur is made with latch hooked yarn. What you do is you cut your yarn into little segments. Then on the body of the animal you bring your latch hook through, just as if you were doing a rug. And you've got your latch hooked fur beginning. And you would go row by row of the stitches, the crochet stitches. Putting your fur on each row. and when you are finished, you would take your scissors and trim the fur so its all at a uniformed length. And you separate it out so it looks all nice and fuzzy like it does on this cat. And that's how you do the latch hook with your crochet."
