"Making a circle can be a lot of fun in crochet. There are a number of ways to do it but for now we're just going to do the single crochet method. You chain two then you put your hook through the first chain that you made, draw the yarn through and make a single crochet. Now at this point I'm going to make six single crochets in this one chain. So I've already done one so now I just need to do five more. Now at this point you want to attach the yarn together so that it makes a uniform circle. So you put the hook through the first single crochet that you did. Draw the yarn through but instead of doing a single crochet you will make a slip stitch which simply draws the yarn through that last loop on the hook. Now at this point you will do two single crochets in each single crochet around the circle. And then in your next round you would do one single crochet in the first single crochet followed by two single crochets in the second single crochet and you would repeat that all the way around. And in the end you will end up with a circle that looks something like this."
