"Now we will move on to the treble crochet which is represented in patterns by the abbreviation TC. In treble crochet you wrap the yarn around the hook twice before putting it through the chain then you bring another loop through the chain so you will now have four loops on your hook. At this point you wrap the yarn around the hook once again pulling it through the first two loops on the hook then wrap it again bringing it through the second two loops on the hook and now you will have two remaining loops on the hook. You wrap the yarn on the hook one more time and draw it through those two loops. If you were counting that is three times that you wrap the yarn around the hook after bringing it through the chain and thus that is why it is called a treble crochet and that is how we do that particular stitch."
