"If you have a barbecue of any kind whether it's gas or propane, any sort of barbecue or grill in your back yard, you really want to be sure that it is completely secure and that your children are not going to be able to get to it. Whether it's on or off, if you have just a freestanding grill, be sure that you keep it covered at all times and that you keep it out of the area where kids can come by and if you have any sort of built-in, you want to be sure that any sort of cabinets underneath, whether it's housing the propane tank or chemicals, whatever it's housing, be sure that that has some sort of safety latch on it so a young child can't come wandering and opening it up. And there are obvious burning hazards with a grill that's being in use, so be sure that you safeguard from that by just keeping an eye on your kids. Make sure that you never leave the grill on with the top up and run into the house, even for a quick second because as we all know, kids are very fast on their feet and can get hurt in a split second and accidents happen very quickly."
